OUSEBURN PARKS

Mosedale Gillatt Architects were part of the team that completed the multi award winning redevelopment of the Ouseburn Parks in Newcastle upon Tyne – designing a new visitors centre, footbridge and ancillary buildings.

Millfield House was refurbished and extended to provide a new visitor centre with exhibition, café, education facilities and archive facilities. The building features a sedum roof, rain water harvesting and other sustainable technologies. Extensive consultation was completed throughout the design process with stakeholders and the local community.
